Achievements and awards. Over 120 graduates have become laureates of all-Russian and international competitions.

Teaching staff. Training is provided by highly qualified teaching staff including renowned maestros, musicians well-known in Russia and abroad whose names are associated with modern Russian performance schools. The departments employ Professors, holders of the titles of People’s and Honored Artists of the Russian Federation, Honored Cultural Workers of the Russian Federation, laureates of all-Russian and international competitions. All teachers of the departments are actively involved in concert performance.

Facilities and resources. The academy has all the necessary training facilities and resources to ensure high quality of the educational process: technical equipment and instruments, a sufficient number of educational materials, computers, a reading hall, numerous concert halls, a good library and a record library related to the educational program that are regularly replenished with new editions and audio and video recordings. 

Education. Teaching internship is undertaken at Moscow Children’s Music School named after V. M. Blazhevich, Gnesins Moscow Specialized Secondary Music School, State Academy of Brass Wind Art, Moscow State Institute of Music named after A.G. Schnittke, M. Glinka Children’s Music School, Gnesins State Musical College. Students of the departments practice their skills by giving concerts in other cities every month. They have already visited Tver, Ryazan, Vladimir, Cheboksary, Yoshkar-Ola, Rostov-on-Don, Kirov, Volgograd. Concerts are given at colleges and universities.

Strategic partners. The Academy cooperates with State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after E.F. Svetlanov, the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Philharmonic Society, the Russian Philharmonic Society Orchestra, the Russian National Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the A.V. Alexandrov Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army, the Central Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Pavel Kogan, the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theater, the Moscow Musical Theater Helikon-Opera, the Novaya Opera Moscow Theater named after E.V. Kolobov.

Employment opportunities. All graduates find employment. Graduates of the department are employed in the best symphony orchestras of Russia, many of them work as teachers.
