Achievements and awards. Students regularly become laureates and certificate winners of numerous all-Russian and international piano competitions held in Russian cities (Moscow, Saratov, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar) as well as in Australia, Spain, Ukraine, and Poland. The department annually holds the Step Towards Mastery All-Russian Interuniversity Competition.

Teaching staff. High-quality training is provided by the experienced academic staff including Professors, Associate Professors, Honored Art Workers of the RF, Honored Cultural Workers of the RF, Honored Cultural Workers of Kyrgyzstan, PhDs, laureates of all-Russian and international competitions.

Facilities and resources. The academy has all the necessary training facilities and resources to ensure high quality of the educational process: 13 Steinway & Sons concert grand pianos, grand pianos and pianos from leading foreign manufacturers (Kawai, Yamaha, Shimmel, etc.), well-stocked library collections that include the sheet music library, the record and video record library, state-of-the-art recording and video equipment that ensures high-quality recording in concert halls.

Education. Students regularly participate in master classes in Russia and abroad (Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes in Israel), all-Russian and international competitions, festivals, educational forums (the Tavrida All-Russian Youth Educational Forum), perform at numerous Russian and foreign concert venues including the Great, Small, and Rachmaninov Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Moscow International House of Music, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Beethoven Concert Hall of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theater (St. Petersburg), concert halls of Philharmonics of Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Yaroslavl, Stavropol, Sochi, etc.

Strategic partners. The Arrigo Boito Conservatory of Parma (Italy), University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria), High School of Music of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain), the Departmental Conservatory of Music and Theater in Cannes (France), etc.
