"Scholarly Papers of Gnesin Russian Academy of Music" is a scientific periodical publication (journal).

The topics of the articles in the journal are related to current issues in the history and theory of music, musical performance, methodology, the study of music in the context of culture, and its relationship with other forms of art, corresponding to the specialty 5.10.3. Articles are published in Russian and English.
The operation of the journal is based on strict adherence to editorial ethics in accordance with the norms of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
Submissions accepted for publication are original articles that have not been published elsewhere, selected by the Editorial Board and subject to peer review. The journal publishes original scientific articles and reviews, translations of foreign research with commentary, analyses of historical documents, and reviews of new books about music.
The journal is included in the list of recommended peer-reviewed scientific publications recognized by the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK), where the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences must be published.
The journal is registered in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), and all articles are available on the Scientific Electronic Library website eLIBRARY.RU.
The journal is registered with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media, Registration Certificate: EL No. FS 77 - 86261 dated 27.10.2023.

The journal «Problems of Music Science / Music Scholarship» is a Russian academic periodical intended for the publication of major research findings by leading scholars and candidates for scientific degrees (both doctoral and candidate degrees). Manuscripts undergo «double-blind» peer review, and the reviews are kept in the editorial office for 5 years. The editorial policy of the journal is based on the recommendations of international organizations regarding the ethics of scientific publishing: the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the European Association of Science Editors (EASE).
«Research of Young Musicologists» is an annual scientific conference for graduate students and undergraduates, dedicated to various issues in musicology. Traditionally, a collection of publications by young researchers is published following the conference.
The journal publishes articles on a wide range of current issues in contemporary ethnomusicology. It discusses questions of theory and practice in ethnomusicology, the analysis of musical-folklore texts, the geography of traditional musical culture, and the historiography of our science.

The periodic electronic scientific journal «Gnesin Russian Academy of Music Herald» began its publication in 2006. Over the years, 13 issues have been released. The authors of the articles include well-known musicologists as well as young graduate students just starting their journey in the field of science. The range of research topics is diverse and wide: from the music of the Renaissance to postmodern composers, from folk ritual traditions to ancient Russian church singing genres...
