Passport

To do that, you should come to a consulate or an embassy of your country in the Russian Federation beforehand. 

Important! In case you obtained a new passport, but your visa (the old one) is still valid visa must be put in a new passport. There are 3 days for completing this procedure, according to the law.

To submit documents for putting visa in a new passport:

• Get a document (ticket) confirming getting passport and the date of getting it in the embassy of your country in the Russian Federation
• At the same day bring the original document (ticket) and new passport to the Department of Visa and Migration Support of Foreign Students
• Pay fee for transferring visa to a new passport – 6 000 rubles

• Send payment receipt to the Department of Visa and Migration Support of Foreign Students via email indekanat@gnesin-academy.ru 
• Receive an answer from the Department of Visa and Migration Support of  Foreign Students that the procedure is done

To get a passport in the country of your citizenship, you should:

• Come to relevant authorities to apply for new passport
