Graduation and leaving the Russian Federation

Foreign students who finished studies early (were expelled) must leave Russia* within 3 days since the date of the order for expulsion.

Foreign students who successfully finished their studies (alumni) must leave Russia within the period of validation of their visa.

If a foreign student applies for academic leave, he/she also should leave the country for the period of academic leave within 3 days since the date of the order for academic leave.

Important!

After issuing the order for expulsion, the Academy reports the police that a foreign student finished their studies early. Expelled students will have their visa and migration registration annulled, so they must leave the country immediately (within 3 days since the date of the order for expulsion).
