Representatives of the Chinese Conservatory of Music visited Gnesinka

The Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Conservatory of Music (Beijing) Wang Xudong, the head of the office and personnel department Zhu Xiaoting and the head of the international department Zhang Yamei arrived at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. The guests met with the rector of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music Alexander Ryzhinsky, the president of the academy Galina Mayarovskaya, the vice-rector for scientific research Tatyana Naumenko and the deputy head of the department of international relations and creative projects Olga Shilova.

The parties discussed further interaction between universities, agreed on joint scientific research, as well as student and personnel exchange.

During the visit to Moscow, representatives of the Chinese Conservatory of Music also attended a concert in the Zaryadye Hall, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Elena Gnessina.

The events are timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia and the "Cultural Year of China and Russia.”
