Quacquarelli Symonds is the largest rating agency in the world, which annually publishes the top 100 best universities by direction.
In 2024, the Russian Academy of Music named after Gnessin was ranked 7th among universities engaged in music education, and 10th in the ranking of the best universities that train artists in the performing arts (music, ballet and theatre).
When compiling the ranking for each of the directions, analysts evaluate the academic reputation of the university, the demand for graduates, the citation of scientific articles, and the Hirsch index of employees, and assign each of the parameters its own weight. The sources of data for analysis are open databases and data provided by universities on request.
You can find the results of the ranking on the QS World University Rankings website.
