«I Love Gnesinka!»: The 77th Graduation Ceremony Takes Place at the Academy

Even the «real» June weather couldn't spoil the celebration! The 77th graduating class of Gnesinka received their diplomas, graduation albums, and commemorative souvenirs. The official ceremony began in the Academy’s Concert Hall, where the newly minted graduates were congratulated by Galina Vasilyevna Mayarovskaya, President of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, and Alexander Sergeevich Ryzhinskii, Rector of the Academy.

Two new Gnesinka traditions were announced with special solemnity: Graduates wrote heartfelt messages to their professors and the Academy. A time capsule was sealed, containing a letter from the Class of 2025 to the Class of 2035.
