Born in 1986.
In 2005 he graduated from the Oryol Music College in the garmon class of E. P. Derbenko; in 2010 from the M. M. Ippolitov‑Ivanov State Music and Pedagogical Institute in the garmon class of D. S. Dmitrienko; and in 2013 completed postgraduate studies at the same institute under V. A. Semenov and M. I. Imkhanitsky.
Since 2003 he has taught at music schools in Oryol and Moscow.
Since 2015 he has taught in the Department of National Instruments of the Peoples of Russia at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and at the 1st Moscow Regional Music College.
He is a laureate of all‑Russian and international competitions; in 2013 he won the Moscow stage of the «Teacher of the Year» competition.
He regularly serves on juries at all‑Russian and international competitions, maintains an active concert career in Russia and abroad, and works to promote the professional development of the Russian garmon.
Since 2004 he has collaborated with the Tula Garmon Factory in Tula.
In 2012 he released the instructional course «The First Professional Video School of Garmon Playing».
From 2013 to 2030 seven collections have been issued as an interactive study aid under the title «The First Professional Video School of Garmon Playing by Pavel Ukhanov».
His publication «Simvoly natsional’noy kultury: russkaya garmon’» appeared in Gusli magazine, 2018, issue no. 1.
