Elizaveta V. Trushina

Performer (violin).

She graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 1996. She is a laureate of the All‑Russian Violin Competition in Novosibirsk and has extensive experience in solo and chamber performance.

For 12 years E. V. Trushina was concertmaster of the chamber orchestra «Russian Camerata», and since 2005 she has been a soloist of the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» under the direction of V. Spivakov, performing with the orchestra in concerts.

As a soloist she tours throughout Europe, America and cities across Russia (around 100 concerts a year).

She gives masterclasses in cities across Russia.

She has recorded works by J. S. Bach, Telemann, W. A. Mozart, F. Mendelssohn and others on CD.

Regular participant in festivals:

• International Music Festival in Colmar (France);
• Festival «Vladimir Spivakov Invites»;
• Music Festival «Cherry Orchard».

Since 2005 E. V. Trushina has worked at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, where she has established herself as a thoughtful and sensitive teacher.
