Сапегина Татьяна Анатольевна

Biography

She was born in 1984 in Shchyokino, Tula Region. She graduated from the Piano Department of the Tula Dargomyzhsky College of Music in 2004, from the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music with a degree in musicology in 2010, and from postgraduate school at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in 2014.

From 2006 to 2009 she worked as a freelance correspondent for the programme Blok NOT, and from 2009 to 2012 as senior editor in the News Department of the TV channel Kultura. At the same time she wrote articles for the newspaper Muzykalnoe obozrenie.

In 2012–2013 she held a research grant from the Russian Humanities Research Foundation (project no. 12‑34‑01336 «From the Avant‑Garde to Mass Culture: Classical Music in Animation»).

She has taken part in All‑Russian and international scholarly conferences.
