He was born in 1987 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
In 2008 he graduated with honours from the College of the Moscow State Institute of Music named after A. G. Schnittke (class of Associate Professor L. I. Krasilnikova). In 2012 he graduated with honours from the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor D. M. Lukyanov). In 2015 he completed with honours the Master’s Programme at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor D. M. Lukyanov), and in 2017 he completed an assistant traineeship there (assistant to Professor D. M. Lukyanov).
He is a laureate of international and all‑Russian competitions, including:
- All‑Russian Open Competition for Brass and Percussion Performers named after A. A. Nesterov (Nizhny Novgorod, 2011);
- Italy PAS International Competition (2014);
- All‑Russian Competition in Cheboksary (2015, percussion ensemble category);
- International Drum Wave 2015 Competition (St Petersburg);
- Drum Fest Russia 2016 – Grand Prix (Moscow);
- Vozrozhdenie 2016 Festival‑Competition (Armenia).
He is a member of the St Petersburg Association of Percussion Teachers and Performers.
He began his professional career as a soloist with the Classical Music Ensemble in Naro‑Fominsk in 2005.
From 2009 to 2012 he was soloist and principal percussionist of the B. A. Pokrovsky Moscow State Academic Chamber Music Theatre. Since 2012 he has been a member of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after E. F. Svetlanov. Since 2014 he has taught at the Central Music School at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
Since 2015 he has taught at the Percussion Department of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, and since 2018 at the Gnesin Moscow Special Music School.
He is a soloist with the ensembles Percarus Duo, Gnesin Percussion Group and Mooncake.
As a soloist and ensemble performer he has appeared in concert halls in Moscow, St Petersburg, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov‑on‑Don, including:
- Tchaikovsky Concert Hall;
- Grand and Small Halls of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music;
- Grand, Small and Rachmaninov Halls of the Moscow Conservatory;
- Moscow International House of Music;
- A. Kozlov Club;
- Open‑air stage of Gorky Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Moscow;
- Moscow Lutheran Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul;
- Moscow Planetarium.
He has performed with Gnesin Percussion Group in Seoul, Vienna and St Petersburg, and has taken part in Russian National Orchestra festivals, Vladimir Spivakov’s festivals at the Moscow International House of Music and the Vladislav Lavrik Brass Days Festival, as well as the popular music festivals Dikaya Myata and Nashestvie.
Throughout his career he has collaborated with such outstanding conductors as Vladimir Jurowski, Vasily Petrenko, Alexander Lazarev, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Valery Gergiev, Alexander Vedernikov, Charles Dutoit, Uriel Segal Marshall and many others.
