Мишин Константин Владимирович

Biography

Director and theatre teacher.

In 1992 he joined Gennadiy Abramov’s Laboratory of Plastic Improvisation, the «Expressive Movement» class at the School of Dramatic Art Theatre.

In 2002 he graduated from the Directing Faculty of GITIS (workshop of Anatoly Vasilyev).

From 2006 to 2017 he worked as a resident director at the School of Dramatic Art Theatre.

From 2008 to 2012 he taught acting at the Moscow Art Theatre School.

Since 2012 he has taught acting at Konstantin Raikin’s Higher School of Performing Arts.

From 2013 to 2017 he was Artistic Director of the Creative Laboratory at the School of Dramatic Art Theatre.

Since 2017 he has been Artistic Director of the KNEBEL Theatre Laboratory.

Since 2022 he has taught the course «Acting for Musical‑Theatre Performers» at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.

He has taken part in contemporary‑dance festivals including «ImpulsTanz» (Vienna, Austria) and «BucharestEST.west» (Bucharest, Romania).

He received the Grand Prix for Best Actor at the «Belaya vezha» festival for his performance in «Mtsyri».

In 2002 the production «Sutra Kamy» represented Russia at the «Global Dance» festival on the stage of the Schauspielhaus Theatre in Düsseldorf, and was also performed in Tokyo and Helsinki.
