Sergey V. Kruglov

He became a sound engineer at Mosfilm in 2015, immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Music Sound Engineering at the Institute of Contemporary Art.

By that time he had already gained significant experience working for one of Russia’s leading classical‑music broadcasters, the Russian State Music Television and Radio Centre (Radio «Orfey»).

He has taken an active role in recording and mixing numerous classical concerts featuring major orchestras, including:

• the Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia;
• the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia;
• Russian Philharmonia;
• the Radio «Orfey» Symphony Orchestra;
• the Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra.

He has also worked with many distinguished soloists, among them:

• Angela Brown;
• Vazgen Vartanyan;
• Hibla Gerzmava;
• Philippe Jaroussky;
• Ignat Solzhenitsyn;
• Julia Lezhneva;
• Kevin Diaz.

Since 2019 he has served as Chief Specialist in the Mosfilm Music Recording Studio.

As a sound engineer he has worked with artists such as Valentina Lisitsa, Ignat Solzhenitsyn, Gleb Kolyadin, Konstantin Dorokhov, the groups iamthemorning and VAN Quartet, and composers Alexei Aigi and Evgeny Grinko.
