Biography

Performer, teacher.

She was born in 1966. In 1985 she graduated from the Ulyanovsk Music College (class of F. G. Azizova), in 1991 from the Leningrad State Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky‑Korsakov (class of Professor A. V. Makarov, Honoured Artist of Russia), and in 1998 she completed an assistant traineeship at the Gnesin Academy (supervisor Professor V. S. Chunin, Honoured Art Worker of Russia).

From 1991 she taught at the Ulyanovsk Music College and performed as a soloist with the Ulyanovsk Regional Philharmonic Society.

She is a laureate of all‑Russian and international competitions.

Since 2008 she has taught at the Gnesin Academy and, since 2011, has been Associate Professor at the Instrumental Performance Department of the Choral and Conducting Faculty. Since 2015 she has served as Associate Professor, and since 2019 as Professor, at the Department of String Folk Instruments of the Gnesin Academy.

Her students have become laureates and diploma‑winners of all‑Russian and international competitions and festivals. She has given concerts and masterclasses in many Russian cities and has served on juries at all‑Russian and international competitions.

She is the author of teaching and research articles and collections of concert pieces arranged for domra and bayan, including:
