Anastasiya A. Gundorina

Biography

In 2003 she graduated with honours from the Saratov State Conservatoire named after L. V. Sobinov (Faculty of History, Theory, and Composition). In 2006 she completed postgraduate studies at the Saratov State Conservatoire named after L. V. Sobinov under the supervision of Candidate of Art Studies, Professor E. I. Vartanova.

Her Candidate dissertation «Contemporary Music Notation: Methodological Problems» was defended in 2012.

From 2003 to 2008 she taught in the Department of Music Theory and Composition at the Saratov State Conservatoire named after L. V. Sobinov, progressing from lecturer to senior lecturer. From 2008 to 2012 she taught theoretical disciplines at the Central Music School (College) of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatoire. From 2012 to 2016 she taught theoretical disciplines and music literature at the College of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.

Since 2016 she has taught in the Department of Music Theory at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. From 2008 to 2013 she also worked in the Department of Science and Education of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

A. A. Gundorina is the author of scholarly papers and presentations on contemporary music and on methodological aspects of studying contemporary music notation.
