Yaroslav V. Glushakov

Graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (2012) and completed his postgraduate studies at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (2015). In 2016, he defended his PhD dissertation titled «Soviet Mass Song in Domestic Culture of the First Half of the 20th Century» (Academic Advisor: Doctor of Arts, Professor T. I. Naumenko).

Awards and Recognition:

• Laureate of the All‑Russian Film Music Festival‑Competition «KINOREX‑2021»;
• Recipient of the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation (project MK‑505.2018.6, «100 Years of Soviet Mass Song: History and Modernity»);
• Principal Investigator of the Russian Foundation for Humanities (RFH) grant, project no. 15‑54‑00013 «Soviet Mass Culture of the Mid‑20th Century»;
• Awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the Committee for Support of Reforms of the President of the Russian Federation (2015), the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Buryatia (2023), the Minister of Culture and Archival Affairs of the Republic of Komi (2025), and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Smolensk Region (2025).

• Trained the GigaChat neural network in the discipline of Harmony within a joint project of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and Sber (2025-2026);
• Presented papers at international and All‑Russian scientific conferences held at the Russian Academy of Sciences, the State Institute for Art Studies, the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, as well as the Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Ural Conservatories, among other leading academic institutions.

Pedagogical and Public Engagement:

• Conducted masterclasses, open lessons, and delivered lectures within the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music Creative Schools across various regions of Russia (including Arkhangelsk, Donetsk, Lugansk, Mariupol, Smolensk, Surgut, Syktyvkar, Tyumen, Ulan‑Ude, and Elektrostal), as well as at the «Artek» International Children’s Center and for gifted children from the Yamalo‑Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO);
• Conducted masterclasses for trainees of professional development courses under the «Culture» National Project;
• Regularly appears as an invited expert on federal television channels.

Ya. V. Gloushakov is a composer of music for film, television, and advertising. He is the author and organizer of socially significant projects dedicated to the anniversaries of the Great Victory and focused on the restoration of the finest song heritage of Soviet composers. He teaches music theory disciplines across various faculties of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.
