In 2009 she graduated with honours from the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor S. E. Senkov). Specialisation: 07.01.65 Instrumental Performance (by instrument: piano, organ). Qualification: concert performer, chamber ensemble artist, accompanist, teacher.
In 2012 she completed postgraduate studies at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor S. E. Senkov). Specialisation: 17.00.02 Music Art. Musicology.
In addition to her studies at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, Yu. V. Fedorova refined her performing skills under Professor Jonty Solomon of Trinity College London and Professor Paolo Giacometti of the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf.

Since September 2010 she has taught in the Department of Piano Performance, initially working as assistant to Professor S. E. Senkov; since February 2015 she has led her own class.

Yu. V. Fedorova actively performs in Moscow and other Russian cities; of particular note is her close artistic collaboration with the Kaluga House of Music and the Kaluga Municipal Chamber Orchestra under A. Levin. Masterclasses and lectures by Yu. V. Fedorova for students and teachers of music schools in Kaluga and the region are also organised there annually.
In 2016 and 2017 she served as a member of the jury of the Moscow Regional Open Competition for Young Pianists «Ancient Dances» (Dolgoprudny Urban District).
Yulia Fedorova combines intensive teaching and concert activities with research work. Her interests lie both in the field of musicology and of pedagogy.
