Biography

In 1991 she graduated from the Conducting and Choral Department of the A. Schnittke Music College, and in 1998 she graduated with honours from the Vocal Faculty of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of V. N. Levko).

In 2000 she completed an assistant traineeship under Professor V. N. Levko.

She performs as a concert and chamber singer and has toured abroad, including in the United Kingdom, France, and other countries.

In 2003 she toured across Russia as a member of the opera studio of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.

I. D. Duboshinskaya is the author of several published works, including:

  • «The Chamber‑Vocal Works of P. I. Tchaikovsky» in Voprosy vokalnogo obrazovaniya, collected articles, Moscow, 2016, pp. 110–115;
  • «Some Observations on the Contemporary Opera Theatre» in Perspektivy razvitiya vokalnogo obrazovaniya, collected articles, Moscow, 2018, pp. 137–142.

She is a diploma‑winner of the Montserrat Caballé International Competition in Andorra (1998) and a laureate of the «Festos» Moscow Student Creativity Festival.

Among her students are:

  • Sona Agadzhanyan, Second Prize laureate of the 6th «Prizvanie: Muzykant» International Young Performers’ Competition (2017) and Second Prize laureate of the 7th «Serebryanaya lira» International Performance Competition‑Festival (2017);
  • Milena Petrichenko, Third Prize laureate of the 7th «Serebryanaya lira» International Performance Competition‑Festival;
  • Nnvard Stepanyan, Third Prize laureate of the I. Dunaevsky «Vesyoly veter» International Vocal Competition (2017);
  • Zhang Siwen, Third Prize laureate of the 6th «Prizvanie: Muzykant» International Young Performers’ Competition;
  • Elizaveta Timergaleeva, First Prize laureate of the «Zazhgi zvezdu» International Competition‑Festival of Children’s, Youth, and Adult Creativity.
