Biography

In 2001 she graduated from the Vocal Faculty of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in the class of People’s Artist of Russia V. N. Levko.

In 2003 she completed an assistant traineeship in the Opera Training Department under Professor Yu. A. Speransky.

From 2000 she collaborated with the Opera Studio of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. Since 2004 she has been a soloist of the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow.

Since 2010 she has been a soloist of the Yekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Her repertoire includes the roles of:

  • Martha («The Tsar’s Bride»);
  • Mimì («La Bohème»);
  • Lyudmila («Ruslan and Lyudmila»);
  • Ophelia («Hamlet»);
  • Maria («Maria Stuarda»);
  • Desdemona («Otello»);
  • Tatyana («Eugene Onegin»);
  • Countess de Formoutiers («Le Comte Ory»);
  • Pamina («Die Zauberflöte»);
  • Adina («L’elisir d’amore»), among others.

Z. T. Beryozova is a laureate of the International Vocal Competition in Padua, Italy (2001).

In 2017 she was awarded the honorary title «Honoured Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania».

Since 2018 she has been a guest soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, making her debut there as Nedda in Leoncavallo’s «Pagliacci».
