Biography

In 2005 she graduated with honours from the F. P. Pavlov Cheboksary Music College in Vocal Art, qualifying as a chorus and ensemble artist.

In 2008 she graduated with honours from the I. N. Ulyanov Chuvash State University with a degree in Musicology (class of Doctor of Art History, Professor, Honoured Art Worker of Russia M. G. Kondratyev), qualifying as a musicologist and teacher of musicology.

In 2010 she graduated with honours from the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor V. N. Levko).

In 2016 she completed postgraduate studies at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in the programme 50.06.01 «Art History», qualifying as a researcher and research‑lecturer.

On 22 December 2015 E. O. Andreiko was awarded the degree of Candidate of Art History for her dissertation «M. D. Mikhaylov: Creative Activity and Performing Style» (supervisor: M. S. Agin, Honoured Art Worker of Russia, Honoured Cultural Worker of Russia, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor).

In 2019 she was awarded the Highest Qualification Category as a teacher.

From 2012 to 2020 she taught in the Choral Conducting Department of the Gnesin Music College.

Since 2020 she has been Associate Professor in the Solo Singing Department (headed by M. S. Agin) at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.

Artistic career:

In 2007 she undertook an internship at the La Scala Theatre School in Italy, participating in a masterclass given by Fiorenza Cossotto.

In 2010 she interned at the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of Professor Jadwiga Rappé (Poland), receiving a Diploma for the best performance of songs by Fryderyk Chopin.

In 2010 she took part in the International Music Festival‑Competition in Suwałki (Poland), where she gave the premiere performance of the role of Zofia in Stanisław Moniuszko’s opera «Don Kiszot» and was awarded a Diploma.

Since 2010 she has been a guest soloist of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic, appearing in solo projects including «A. S. Pushkin in Music», «Vocal Music of the Baroque Era», «The Charm of the Russian Romance», «Romances to Poems of the Silver Age», Prokofiev’s «The Ugly Duckling», and Mussorgsky’s song cycle «The Nursery» (with presenter A. Vargaftik).

She has made four studio recordings: «Early Italian Arias»; Mussorgsky’s song cycle «The Nursery»; «Romances and Songs by 19th‑Century Russian Composers»; and «Romances to Poems by A. S. Pushkin».

E. O. Andreiko is a laureate and diploma‑winner of international vocal competitions, including:

  • First Prize at the International Organ Music Festival (2007);
  • First Prize at the 5th International Festival‑Competition «Sovremennoye iskusstvo i obrazovanie» («Contemporary Art and Education», 2010);
  • First Prize at the International Festival‑Competition «Muzyka — Klassika» (2010);
  • Diploma‑winner of the International Competition for Performing Musicians and Composers «Romanticism: Origins and Horizons» (2011);
  • Diploma‑winner of the 4th Independent International Competition for Opera Performers (2012);
  • First Prize laureate of the International Festival‑Competition «Mirovyye talanty» («World Talents», 2016);
  • First Prize laureate of the 6th International Festival‑Competition «Vivat voice» (2020).

In the field of vocal pedagogy she has received the following awards:

  • a Certificate of Honour from the I. S. Kozlovsky Foundation for her contribution to the development of Russian musical and vocal art (2011);
  • a Diploma from the Moscow Department of Culture and Youth Policy for training laureates of the Open District Youth Festival «Youth and Talent», dedicated to the 1941 Battle of Moscow (2013).

She has also received letters of thanks for preparing student prize‑winners of competitions, including:

  • the «Romanticism: Origins and Horizons» International Competition for Performing Musicians and Composers in memory of F. Schubert (2013);
  • the «New Wave of Talented Russia» International Competition (2018);
  • the 8th «Vivat music» International Open Festival‑Competition for Young Performers (2019);
  • the 6th «Cantabile» International Academic Vocal Competition (2020).

E. O. Andreiko is actively engaged in research, taking part each year in international, all‑Russian, and inter‑university conferences.

She is the author of eleven articles on performance art, including publications in leading peer‑reviewed journals recognised by the Russian Higher Attestation Commission, such as:

  • her performances include solo and shared programmes at the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic, the Central House of Artists, the Gogol Centre, the M. A. Bulgakov House‑Museum, the K. S. Stanislavsky House‑Museum, the Central House of Journalists, the Central House of Scientists, the Chinese Cultural Centre, cultural centres, educational institutions, and social‑care centres;
  • she has developed the educational project «Unboring Classics for Children», implemented at the Mitino Cultural Centre in Moscow, featuring themed programmes such as «A Vocal‑Instrumental Journey across Countries and Continents», «Fairy Tales Travel the World», «The Seasons», «The Musical Zoo», «Flowers in Music», «Bird Songs», and «The Musical Box»;
  • at the Mitino Cultural Centre gallery she gives solo recitals within the subscription series «Vocal Music by Anniversary Composers».
