The L. I. Roizman International Organ Competition
The International Organ Competition named after L. I. Roizman is held to further develop national musical education, promote organ art, support young talented performers, strengthen international cultural ties, preserve and enhance the best traditions of national organ schools, and draw the public’s attention to the field of classical music.
The competition is part of the annual International Festival «Musical Tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach».
The organizers of the competition are the V. F. Odoevsky Cultural and Educational Centre of Organ Art (Moscow) and the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. They set up the competition’s organizing committee and form the competition jury.
The jury comprises renowned Russian and international experts in the field of organ performance.
