The International Festival «Musical Tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach»
The International Festival «Musical Tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach» is held with the following objectives:
- to foster the development of organ art and musical education in Russia;
- to support young and talented performers;
- to strengthen international cultural ties;
- to preserve and enrich the best traditions of Russian and foreign organ schools;
- to draw wide public attention to the sphere of classical music.
The festival is organized by the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. The Academy:
- establishes the festival’s organizing committee;
- develops the festival programme.
