During pandemic restrictions the Academy provides education using Google Classroom platform for all foreign students who can’t enter the Russian Federation to study. All lessons are held in Russian.

Please be advised that if the current regulations of your country allow border crossing for students, then you MUST come to Russia to study offline.
For training, the student needs a personal computer connected to the Internet. The Internet speed should be appropriate for video and audio calls. The computer must be equipped with a web camera, speakers and microphone, because the educational process includes webinars and audio courses.

Also, we recommend using the following browsers: Google Chrome version 55 and higher, Mozilla Firefox 36.0 and higher, Internet Explorer 8.0 and higher. To view video and audio content, it is recommended to install Adobe ® Flash ® Player software version 25 or higher on your computer. To view materials in PDF format, you must install the Acrobat Reader DC software. To send and download archive files, you must install the WinRar, 7ZIP software.
If you can't enter Russia for studies due to pandemic restictions, you must start your classes online according to the official schedule.

After successfully passing entrance exams and confirmation of payment of your education at the Academy, you will be given a personal e-mail address in the @gnesin-academy.ru domain (based on gmail). You can access your classes via Google Classroom by entering a specific classroom code.

To reserve a classroom on your own, you must PERSONALLY visit the Control Room and leave your student ID card in exchange for the classroom key. If there are no vacant classrooms, you can wait until some of them get free. As a rule, there are free classrooms either early in the morning or in the evening, after 6 pm. Note! Often lost things (student ID cards, grade books and bank cards) are brought to the Control Room.

If you are a student of the Academy, you can lease a musical instrument for training. Contact the Musical Instruments Storage Department along with your teacher. Then you can select an instrument and sign a lease agreement. This is a fee-based service. The term of agreement amounts to 1 academic year. Before the summer holidays, the instrument should be returned to the Musical Instruments Storage Department (Location: Main Academy Building, behind the stage of the Large concert hall, vew map; E-mail: g.norshtein@gnesin-academy.ru)
Musicians can purchase music sheets and expendable materials for their instruments both offline and online in Moscow.

To repair your musical instrument, you may contact your professor. Professors of the Academy provide their students with contacts of reliable masters.
The structure of the Student Council of the Academy comprises a volunteer corps; after you join it, during the first term the Student Council members select the most active students and invite them to participate in the Student Council.

To become a part of the student community of both Colleges, it’s necessary to address the student activists of the Colleges.
